About the Family
A warm, professional dual-income family living in Hudson, OH is expecting their first child in June 2026 and is looking for an experienced, nurturing nanny to join their household beginning mid-October. Both parents work from home two days per week. They are looking for someone who will be a true partner in their child's care and development from the very beginning.
The family also shares their home with two older dogs and is looking for someone who genuinely loves animals. The nanny will be asked to provide light dog care including feeding and letting them outside throughout the day.
Infant Care Responsibilities
As the baby will be approximately four months old at the start date, hands-on infant experience is essential. Daily responsibilities will include:
Diapering and hygiene
Bathing baby
Tummy time and floor play
Developmental stimulation
Bottle preparation and washing
Baby laundry
Tracking feeds and diapers via app or written log
Outings and stroller walks
Newborn soothing and settling techniques
Preparing purees when age appropriate
Keeping areas tidy, light housekeeping
Additional Responsibilities
Occasional errands and grocery shopping
Light dog care including feeding and letting outside
Willingness to travel with the family
Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated infant care experience
Genuine love for dogs and comfort sharing a home with pets
CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside parents who work from home
Trustworthy, reliable, and passionate about early childhood development
Compensation
$28-33 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Details to be discussed during the interview process.
